Close offers optional SMS notifications so you never miss a deal-critical moment — like when a client opens your proposal, spends time on pricing, or signs.
SMS alerts are opt-in only and available on Pro plans and above. Users must explicitly enable SMS notifications in their account settings.
How to opt in

Go to Settings
Navigate to Settings → Brand in your Close dashboard.

Find SMS Notifications
Scroll to the SMS Notifications section at the bottom of the page.

Enter your phone number
Type your mobile number and click "Send code." You'll receive a 6-digit verification code via text.

Verify your number
Enter the verification code to confirm your phone number.

You're set
SMS notifications are now active. You can disable them anytime from the same settings page.

What you'll receive
When enabled, you'll get a text message when:
A client opens your proposal
A client spends 5+ minutes on the pricing section
A client signs your proposal
A deposit payment is received
A client opens your presentation deck
A client requests a meeting from your deck
Opting out
You can disable SMS notifications at any time from Settings → Brand → SMS Notifications. Click “Disable SMS” and you'll stop receiving text messages immediately. You can also reply STOP to any Close text message to unsubscribe.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on client activity. Get Close will never share your phone number with third parties.
