Close (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates the website getclose.so and the Close platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.
When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and company name. If you set up SMS notifications, we collect your phone number.
We store the proposals, pitch decks, and related content you create using Close. This includes client names, company names, project descriptions, pricing, and any documents you upload.
If you configure white label branding, we store your logo, brand colors, company name, tagline, contact information, social media handles, and scheduling link.
We track how clients interact with proposals and pitch decks you send, including: when a proposal is opened, time spent on sections, signature events, and payment events. This engagement data is a core feature of Close and is used to power your deal intelligence.
We do not store credit card numbers or bank account details. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.

Each of these services has their own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them. Your data is transmitted to these services only as necessary to provide the Close platform.
Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS in the US East region). We use row-level security policies to ensure users can only access their own data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We do not sell your data to third parties.
We retain your account data and proposals for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days. Archived proposals are retained until you explicitly delete them or your account.

SMS notifications are opt-in only and available on Pro plans and above. You must verify your phone number before receiving texts. You can disable SMS at any time from your account settings or by replying STOP to any message. Message and data rates may apply. See our SMS Consent page for details.
Close uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
Close is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
