These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Close (“the Service”), operated at getclose.so. By using Close, you agree to these Terms.
To use Close, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use Close.
Close offers the following subscription plans:
Prices are in US dollars. Plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. Founder pricing, where offered, is locked at the rate at the time of purchase for the lifetime of the subscription.
All payments are processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Subscription fees are charged at the beginning of each billing period.
Deposit payments collected through Close proposals are one-time charges processed via Stripe Checkout on behalf of the proposal sender.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings or through the Stripe customer portal. Upon cancellation:
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@getclose.so within 14 days of the charge.
You agree not to:
You retain ownership of all content you create in Close, including proposals, pitch decks, and uploaded documents. By using Close, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content solely to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.
AI-generated content (proposals, pitch decks) is created using Anthropic's Claude based on your inputs. You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated content before sending it to clients.
Proposals created in Close are accessible via public URLs. You are responsible for sharing proposal links only with intended recipients. Engagement tracking (opens, time on page) is a core feature and is active on all sent proposals.
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to Close. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Close and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Close in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Close is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that AI-generated proposals will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific needs. You are responsible for reviewing all content before sending to clients.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Close and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we may delete your data after 30 days.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use of Close after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Texas.
